Save to PDF from IntelliDealer

Save records from IntelliDealer as a PDF

Although IntelliDealer has a built-in email service, if you want to send a document from IntelliDealer to a customer using your own email, you do not have to print and scan the document to your email. IntelliDealer can create a PDF for you and you so all you have to do is download the file. No more wasted toner and paper.

When in an invoice or other location where information can be printed, click on ‘Print’ just the same ...

In the window that pops-up, if PDF6004 is not listed as the printer to use, click on the magnifying glass next to the text field:

At the top of the list “PDF6004” should be listed, click on the name to select it:

You should now see the “Print Invoice” pop-up with PDF6004 listed as the printer. Click Print:

Retrieve PDF files saved in IntelliDealer

Once a PDF has been created, it still needs to be Exported or Downloaded from IntelliDealer to the local system before it can be saved to the server, emailed to a customer, etc.

While on the home screen, click on the printer icon in the upper right corner of the screen and click on “Printer Output/PDF Viewer” typically the first option:

There are (2) tabbed options, Printer Output and View PDF; click on “View PDF” to view the recent PDF files created under your profile:

Listed below should be the PDF file that was created, noted with the date and time that the file was created. Click on the name to show the PDF on the screen or click on the icon next to the description to load PDF in a separate window:
Regardless of which option is used, in the preview screen, click on the arrow pointing down, at the far top right corner of the document:

Depending on how the browser is setup, it will either automatically download the file to a pre-configured destination, i.e. Documents or Desktop, or it will ask where you want the file saved. The file should now be on the local system.
