Internet
Explorer is now Edge in Windows 10
Although there
are many browsers available now, and most of us use other said browsers, some
still prefer to user Internet Explorer. Not only do some users still prefer IE
but there are a lot of web applications that are coded to work with ActiveX and
Internet Explorer.
On June 15, 2022, the
Internet Explorer 11 desktop application ended support on certain versions of
Windows 10; at this time customers were encouraged to move to Microsoft Edge.
On February 14, 2023
Microsoft announced plans to deactivate its old browser software once and for
all. An update will block access to the browser for all Windows PCs, forcing
all its users to move either to Edge or to other alternatives.
The best options available on the market
are Firefox and Chrome and are
supported with most web apps. If the web-app requires Internet Explorer, or
will not run in Edge, do not freak out there is an option ....
